Strength & Balance Class

Tuesday & Thursday · 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM · June 2nd to August 20th

Dinner Bay Park, near the washrooms. These classes are sponsored by Mayne Island Parks and Recreation Commission. We will highlight the outdoor equipment and how folks of all ability levels can use it.

A fun group balance class, designed to build the strength, coordination, and confidence that keep you steady on Mayne Island’s hills and trails.


Online Zoom Class

Tuesday & Thursday · 8:00 – 8:30 AM · Onging

Live on Zoom from home. $50 per calendar month, $30 for 1/2 of the classes, or $10 drop-in.

A moderate-intensity class that uses only body-weight for exercises. There will be standing exercises like squats, and some mat exercises — you can use a chair instead of a mat. I always offer different variations so folks at different ability levels can participate.


Saturday Fitness Class

Saturdays · 9:00 – 9:45 AM · June 7-28 (4 classes)

Dinner Bay Park, near the washrooms. These classes are sponsored by Mayne Island Parks and Recreation Commission. We will highlight the outdoor equipment and how folks of all ability levels can use it.

A 45-minute class with a mobility warm-up, cardiovascular exercises, strength exercises, and stretching.
