Saturday Fitness Classes

A friendly 45-minute outdoor circuit at Dinner Bay Park, designed to give active adults a varied, energizing weekend workout. Suitable for any fitness level — I always offer easier and harder variations of every exercise.

About the Class

Each session moves through four phases: a mobility warm-up to wake everything up, cardiovascular work to get the heart rate going, strength exercises with body-weight and bands, and a stretch to finish. Bring a yoga mat if you have one for the core and stretching segments.

Saturdays · 9:00 – 9:45 AM · May 2 – 30 (5 classes)

Adachi Pavilion, Dinner Bay Park.


Cost

$60 for the 5-class series, or $15 drop-in.


What to Bring & Weather

Dress for the weather and bring water. A yoga mat is helpful for the core and stretching segments if you have one.

If it’s raining, we move under cover into the Adachi Pavilion. Classes are only cancelled for a wind warning.


Year-Round Class

Saturday classes run most weeks throughout the year. In June, the Parks will sponsor classes that focus on using the outdoor park equipment. July-September we will hold classes in the Adachi Pavilion at Dinner Bay. October 2026 – April 2027 classes will be held inside at the Mayne Island Community Centre.
