Strength & Balance Classes on Mayne Island

A fun group balance class, designed to build the strength, coordination, and confidence that keep you steady on Mayne Island’s hills and trails.

About the Class

New for May: Pole Strength & Balance is an outdoor group class that uses walking poles and balance equipment to build lower-body strength, steady your footing, and improve confidence. Each session works through gentle warm-ups, standing strength and balance work, and movement patterns you can use every day on the island’s trails, gardens, and stairs. Suitable for older adults and anyone wanting to feel more sure-footed.

What Participants Say

Exercising has never been my favorite, exercising as in classes, but I’ve certainly found Tim’s classes have brought up my level of consciousness. Classes have been great and encouraged more at home stretching etc. I’m certainly looking forward to the next class.
